Why can't we manage our project ourselves?

We often hear about people who have tried to "do it themselves" or take on-board a Builder to do a "design + construct" package. It's usually a big compromise that is not worth it in the long run. Here are some examples of what can go wrong:

How do I get a quote for your fees?

Initially we will discuss enquiries over the phone, and if required, meet briefly to view your current or future space, all free of charge. We will then provide you with a quote. This could either be a fixed fee or an hourly rate but with an estimated fee range, so that you have some idea of overall costs. (The latter usually provides more flexibility for clients, as it allows them to increase or decrease our scope of work as the project progresses).

What if we are unsure if our proposed space is feasible?

Perhaps you are relocating and unsure if the space is too small or too large?

Or perhaps are unsure if redesigning your existing space is feasible?

Or need to know if you can accommodate more staff into an existing space?

We are happy to provide a "feasibility study" or a pre-analysis to help your business decide whether to proceed further with a project or consider an alternative. This is a small cost that is well worth the money. Generally a phone conversation will be enough to provide you with our fee for this.

Do you recommend builders/contractors?

Yes, we can recommend builders/contractors that we know will suit your project and who will price it competitively.

We can also send the project out to tender, and manage the construction phase. This can also be done by a specialist project manager who we work with.

If you already have a builder you would like to use, we can liaise with them to ensure you get a competitive price without having to go to tender (ie. a negotiated contract).
